Although she has undergone several surgeries, including removal of her ovary and bowel repair, doctors are now examining whether a congenital bowel defect may have worsened her health problems.

Derlia Alves dies at the age of 26

The Daily Mail has confirmed that Brazilian influencer Derlia Alves has recently died. It was stated in the report that the influencer felt severe abdominal pain shortly after undergoing breast augmentation surgery. The pain was reported on February 20, after which she was admitted to hospital. Even after undergoing two surgeries, having one of her ovaries removed, and having her intestines repaired, Elvis left for her heavenly abode on February 28. She was admitted to Marabá Municipal Hospital at the time of her death. A statement to the report also indicated that the medical team at the hospital found “a possible congenital intestinal anomaly that may have contributed to the severity of her condition.”

Carajás Notícias also reported that a biopsy is being performed, the results of which are scheduled to be published on March 16. Meanwhile, her sister Jessica Alves also took to social media to pay her respects to her beloved family member. “You are and will always be my other half, and my favorite person in the world,” she wrote in the post, which included multiple photos of them together.
