Paramount has finally put the pedal to the ground on a sequel to Thunder daysWith the keys being given to Jonathan Levine to sit in the driver’s seat as manager of the Tom Cruise vehicle.
Cruise is on board to star in the sequel to his 1990 racing drama and produce with Jerry Bruckheimer, one of the producers of the original film. This feature is intended to be Cruise’s next production.
Paramount’s tapping of Levine, whose deal is still in the midst of negotiations, is a strong vote of confidence in him Mr. is irrelevantthe upcoming sports drama directed by Levine. The film, which stars David Corensweet and opened widely on Christmas Day, hit record highs during test screenings earlier this spring.
