What the review says
The ETimes review of the film says: “It does not shy away from showing the failings of parents, teachers and children themselves.
He talks about important topics in a language that young people understand. The generational shift in teacher-student relationships and school culture receives space here. Let’s not forget the nosy people who are always there to comment on other people’s lives, insult everyone and drag them down. Vipin Das balances the narrative by not favoring one side but exposing the faults of all.
“Our exclusive review adds: “Although it explores such serious themes, the humor is organic and doesn’t burden the audience with harsh criticism.
It’s mellow, but deliberate and powerful. The film also explores the bonds of brotherhood, and not just within one generation. He doesn’t sugarcoat everything with rosy, feel-good moments, but rather shows how these connections develop through experiences.‘Vaazha 2’ is benefiting from positive audience response and has had one of the strongest first week performances for a Malayalam film in recent times.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
