Audience reviews for “Athiradi” are mostly positive

The film is receiving encouraging feedback online, though some viewers have pointed out the film’s uneven pacing. One wrote: “A college artist who really works in theatres. From the beginning, the film makes its setting and plot very clear with the backdrop of the college festival and the chaos surrounding it.

It quickly draws us into the characters and their world without wasting much time. What makes the film successful is how it balances two layers at once – a fun-filled entertainer on the surface and an emotional connection underneath.

Although the middle portions feel a little drawn out at times, the opening, and especially the last twenty minutes, provide some of the film’s best moments.”Another wrote: “Athiradi – Average watch. Turns out the film is worth a one-time watch mainly because of its relatively engaging second half.

The first half feels flat and lacks enough interesting moments to maintain the momentum. Even throughout the film, the graph keeps fluctuating, as every moment hits a high, the next scene pulls it back down again.”Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
