According to Bollywood Hungama, reports suggest that Nupur Asthana, who directed the first season alongside Priyanka Ghose, will not be returning for the new chapter due to his previous professional commitments. Asthana is currently busy with another Netflix project being produced under the banner of Ekta Kapoor.
As she moves on to a different assignment, Priyanka Ghose is expected to continue her involvement with ‘The Royals’.Jasmeet K. Reen, who received widespread acclaim for her directorial debut “Darlings,” is now set to helm the next phase of the romantic drama. The director made a strong impression with Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma.
