During a recent interview on CBS News Sunday Morningthe Emmy Award-winning actor, producer and showrunner visited Goodwood – a small town in Ontario, Canada, where… Schitt’s Creek has been filmed – for the first time since the sitcom wrapped in 2020.

“No, not now,” Levi replied. “You can’t.”
the Big mistakes The co-author added that at one point, he was “thinking” of a follow-up Schitt’s Creek. However, that was before O’Hara died on January 30 at age 71 from a pulmonary embolism, with rectal cancer as the underlying cause.
The actress played David’s mother and quirky soap star Moira Rose on the show for six seasons.
“It’s hard. It’s hard to come back. I didn’t think I would have quite the emotional reaction,” Levi told Mason as he struggled to hold back his tears. He added that he was thinking of “so many memories… so many memories with Catherine. What you have to hold on to is the memories of everything.”
“And an unbelievable video,” Mason responded sarcastically, Levy echoed O’Hara, “an unbelievable video. Listen, for someone who wasn’t on the internet, she knew how to meme.”
Schitt’s Creekcreated by Levy and his father Eugene Levy, won nine Emmy Awards throughout its run. The film revolves around Johnny Rose (Eugene) and his family, who go from being extremely wealthy to being broke overnight after falling victim to a scam. That’s when they move to an underdeveloped town called Schitt’s Creek, because it’s their only remaining asset, and culture shock will undoubtedly ensue.
After O’Hara’s death, Levy shared in a tribute at the time, “What a gift I had to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance all those years ago.”
He continued: “Having spent over fifty years collaborating with my father, Katherine was like extended family before she was my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her. I will cherish every funny memory I was lucky enough to make with her.” “My heart goes out to Beau, Matthew, Luke and everyone in her big, beautiful family.”
