Palak had sung a song in Daisy’s first film Jai Ho, and this connection gradually extended to the entire family.Recalling how their association began, Daisy said, “Palash is very good as a person. In fact, I have met him many times. Palak sang a Jai Ho song, so I have known her since then, so I often go to parties at Palak’s house for birthdays and Ganpati Puja, and that is how I met Palash.”
That’s how I knew he was a music composer and director.”

“They’re very close-knit,” Daisy says of his family.
The actress also spoke fondly about the Mushal family and the values they hold. Sharing her impression, she added: “I met his family, a beautiful family. They are very close-knit. They believe in God a lot and I think that is the good side of them. Those who believe in God are positive people.”Her remarks come soon after Palaash announced his new directorial venture starring Shreyas Talpade, his first professional announcement after calling off his November 23, 2025 wedding to Smriti Mandhana.
Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court recently barred actor-producer Vidnayan Mani from making defamatory statements against Palash, terming some of the comments as “innuendo and defamatory”. Mushal also filed a lawsuit seeking damages and a permanent injunction.
