Paramount is marking its calendar for Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. The best-selling novel will be released on November 12, 2027, the studio announced Thursday.
Coda Director Sian Heder is directing, producing and writing the screenplay from earlier drafts by Mark Bomback and Gabrielle Zevin, the book’s author.
Daisy Edgar-Jones stars in this film, which says in the tagline, “It’s a modern-day love story about two friends who meet as children and reunite as adults to create video games, finding an intimacy in digital storytelling that eludes them in their real lives. The relationship explores the passion and heartbreak of creative collaboration, set against the groundbreaking visual worlds that the rising video game industry of the 1990s brought into the 2000s.”
Zivin’s 2022 book has sold more than four million copies and spent a year on the New York Times bestseller list.
The auteur will produce this film, with Temple Hill’s Wick Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner producing.
Zevin is repped by CAA, Doug Stewart of Sterling Lord Literistic, and Bradley Garrett of Garrett Legal, PC. Heder is repped by CAA, Anonymous Content, Goodman Genow and ID.
