“Cocktail 2” stars Shahid Kapoor as Kunal, Kriti Sanon as Ally, and Rashmika Mandanna as Diya. The film was shot in Sicily, Delhi and Gurugram. Pritam composed the soundtrack with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The first single, “Jab Talk”, was released in April 2026.

Early reactions from X (formerly Twitter) showed a sharp split. One viewer wrote: “10/10 #Cocktail2Review Romance, friendship, heartbreak, chaos, laughter and emotions all rolled into one beautiful movie.”Another post praised the central relationship drama and said: “This triangle is better written than 90% of the love triangles in Bollywood in the last decade. One viewer praised the film and wrote, “Just came out of #Cocktail2 and what a refreshing watch it was! Fun when it needs to be, emotional when it needs to be, and never boring for a moment!! The chemistry between the actors really carries the movie.”

I started watching this hoping for a vibrant, modern relationship drama, but it proved to be a painful, hollow, and downright frustrating experience.
