Camila Morrone may be the lead in the new Netflix series, Something very bad will happenBut she admits she had some fear of being at the top of the call-up list after working on it Daisy Jones and the Six.
In an interview with the people Magazine, Morrone considered working on the Prime Video series at the time in which she starred alongside Keough and Sam Claflin.
“I’ve seen Riley Keough and Sam Claflin go through hell Daisy Jones and the Six“,” Morrone said. She recalled “looking at Riley” as the lead of the series, and how she didn’t “know if she was going to make it.”
“She was withered. She was withered,” Morrone said of her former co-star, calling Keough a “real gangster” for getting through it all.
The 10-episode Prime Video series chronicles the iconic fictional band Daisy Jones & The Six as they find their way to success and instant fame in the 1970s. Keough and Claflin both sing songs on the show and have learned how to play guitar. The actors also attended a daily in-person band camp to improve their performance as a group. The show’s team said that over the course of filming the series, which lasted seven months, some songs were performed more than 100 times. Hollywood Reporter.
“They had to sing, they had to play instruments, they had to do it a million times,” Morrone said of her former co-stars. “And she [Keough] He had to play a character who was going through it. “I remember looking at her and thinking, ‘Wow, I’m so jealous of your job, but I’m also so afraid of it.'”
Despite the hard work that went into it, Morrone said she and the cast “all loved this show.”
“We were so grateful that we did it, and it changed our whole lives,” she added.
In Prime’s adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 bestseller of the same name, Morrone played Camilla, Claflin’s wife Billy. “I felt that way about the book too, but Camilla is the heroine of the story.
