Obviously the casting agents are on Dexter: Resurrection Serious people.
Brian Cox has joined the second season of the Paramount+ series Dexter: Resurrection As a retired New York serial killer, Superhero. The New York Ripper – real name Dom Frant – was introduced as an in-universe character in season one when Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Claudette Wallace (Kadia Saraf) found a file on the mass murderer in Leon Prater’s (Peter Dinklage) basement. The Ripper/Frant was never depicted on screen.
Well, now we know what his face looks like, and that his voice looks a lot like a McDonald’s commercial.
Although the serial killer may no longer be active as a killer, he has “found a new way to live up to his fame by continuing to taunt survivors of his long-time killing spree,” according to a carrier announcement Thursday.
Cox will be able to pull this off. Not only is the man an accomplished actor, he has relevant experience: Cox played Hannibal Lecter in the 1986 film. Manhunter. (Anthony Hopkins is best known for his role as the serial killer in 1991 Silence of the Lambs.)
Dexter: Resurrectionwhich resurrected Hall as Dexter Morgan, is descended from showrunner Clyde Phillips. Hall is also producing the sequel to Aymanas do Scott Reynolds, Marcus Ceja, Tony Hernandez, Lily Burns, John Goldwyn, Sarah Colliton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rehn, Tanner Bean, and Katrina Mathewson.
