Pre-booking for the much-awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’, starring Vijay, is now open in Tamil Nadu. The film will be released on July 23. Minutes after bookings began, a large number of people filled some theaters to obtain tickets for the early morning show.

The hype around ‘Jana Nayagan’ has reached the next level with the confirmation of the first day premiere dates. The film’s premiere in Tamil Nadu will begin at 8.40 am, while viewers in some other states can watch it even earlier, with shows scheduled for 6 am in a few centres. The film was scheduled to release on Pongal 2026 on January 9, but the release was postponed due to long censorship issues.
After overcoming hurdles, including getting an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, the makers have set July 23 as the new release date.
