Akshay Kumar has followed the routine of eating early, not for a couple of months, but for over 20 years. Standing tall in the entertainment industry, the 58-year-old is known for his skill in fitness exercises and adherence to a strict diet. “Early dinner is important. It is very important for your body because when we sleep at night, our eyes, our legs, our hands, every part of our body is resting. But what is not resting is your stomach because we ate late,” he shared his thoughts during a conversation with the audience at the Your Body Already Knows book launch event.
Moreover, he mentioned the scientific facts behind the practice, saying, “I believe that diseases will not come close to you. This is what I always follow. So, it is important to eat at 6.30 pm because you get enough time to digest your food, and by the time you are about to sleep, by 9, 9.30, 10 pm, the stomach is completely ready to rest.”
