Blue guides Star Steve Burns has signed with UTA to represent in all areas.

Burns was the original host of the popular Nickelodeon show from 1996 to 2002, which shaped a generation of kids by reaching audiences in more than 120 countries. He received a Daytime Emmy nomination for his work on the show.

He reprized his role in the 2019 reboot Blue guides and you! as a recurring character and mentor to the franchise’s new host, Josh Dela Cruz. He also wrote and directed several episodes of the series until 2024.

Burns continued to connect with his fans with a viral 25th anniversary message, in which he praised his former viewers for now navigating the world as adults, including dealing with student loans, jobs and families. This was then translated into his Lemonada podcast, Alive with Steve Burnswhere HR hosts conversations about what it means to be alive. In 2026, Burns was nominated for an Ambie Award for Outstanding Podcast Host for his work on the series.

Next August, Burns will present his first solo show, Steve Burns: Alive At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Underbelly. The production is produced by Benson Drive Productions.

Burns also has a long career in voice-over, with credits including ads for Citibank, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Dove, E*TRADE, Snickers, Rubbermaid, Gilette, Dunkin’, Lowe’s, KFC, Snapple, Oral-B and more.
