Arjun Sarja’s ‘Blast’ witnessed a positive jump at the box office during its second weekend. The action artist benefited from viewership on Sunday and recorded an increase in collections.According to Sacnilk estimates, the film has collected Rs 4.35 crore in India net on the 11th day. This reflects an increase of 24.3 percent over the 10th day collections of Rs 3.50 lakh crore.

Including the 11th day collections, ‘Blast’ has now collected approximately Rs 35.74 crore in India net collections. India’s total earnings currently stand at around Rs 41.10 lakh crore. International markets have contributed approximately Rs 11.70 lakh crore to the total collections so far.
The film’s worldwide gross has now stood at around Rs 52.80 crore.Tamil collections contributed Rs 3.92 crore, while the Telugu version added nearly Rs 43 lakh.The overall occupancy rate of the Tamil version was 46.87 percent. Afternoon shows emerged as the strongest period with an occupancy rate of 55.08 percent. Evening and night shows also maintained stable numbers.The country figures also showed that Tamil Nadu remained the leading market for the film.
The film completed its first week with collections of Rs 25.78 crore. The second week saw expected weekday declines. Saturday collections reached Rs 3.50 crore and Sunday earnings increased further. The coming week will now determine whether Blast can continue to maintain its performance.
‘Karuppu’ continues its strong run in the fourth week
Meanwhile, Suriya’s Karuppu continues to maintain its momentum at the box office despite entering its fourth week.
The film registered another rise in profits on day 24.According to Sacnilk, ‘Karuppu’ has collected approximately Rs 1.75 crore nett in India on Day 24. This represents a 19 percent increase over Day 23 collections of Rs 1.47 crore.The film’s total net collection in India has now reached around Rs 193.40 crore.
