Blake Lively shares her statement on Instagram
Even after a U.S. judge dismissed 10 of the 13 claims in the ongoing lawsuit, she expressed gratitude that parts of her case would still go to trial. “I am grateful for the court’s ruling allowing the substance of my case to be presented to the jury next month, and for the ability to tell my entire story at trial, for my own benefit, but also for those who do not have the same opportunity…many of whom I have known and loved dearly in my life, and countless people I will never know.
“Defending her decision to file the multi-million dollar lawsuit, she said: “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the pervasive retaliation I faced, and continue to face, for demanding both personally and professionally to provide a safe work environment for myself and others. I hope the court’s decision shows others that, although it is unfathomably painful, you can speak up.”In a series of posts and excerpts from the ruling, Lively urged her fans not to “get distracted by digital series.”
She added: “The physical pain caused by digital violence is very real. It is abuse. It is everywhere… My allegations will not be the first or last time you see examples of the extreme risks of retaliation and digital warfare.”
She concluded by thanking supporters, “I could not have begun to stand up without the countless people who came before me – and the masses who are still around us all – creating laws, creating social change, sparking conversations, rallying, working in the public and private sectors, risking and sometimes losing everything for the safety of others in all places.”
Some names we know, most of us don’t. Thank you. All of you…your support keeps me going.

Blake Lively is being trolled for posts
However, her posts also sparked criticism on social media, with many users trolling her for her comments. One comment read: “Blake is obsessed with posting quotes from the Canva template on her Instagram stories.” Another said: “Blake Lively is in complete meltdown mode with her constant IG stories. Posting quotes from recordings, trying so hard to prove she didn’t lose like most people think she did.
At this point, someone should probably take her phone away because this malfunction doesn’t stop.
“Some users questioned the nature of her allegations, with one writing: “Blake now says the crux of her case is revenge, not sexual harassment.” Another said: “Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds know full well they are not victims! They bully people and play the victim. I only know one type of person who does that! Joy and justice for Justin,” and “Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are gaslighting, EGOMANIACS! All she had to do was stand by Justin at the premiere, apologize for being rude to Kjersti and own the marketing tone.”
They refused. They think they are victims. This is the reason why she is currently losing on her social media.
According to the latest reports, Blake and Justin’s legal team were called in for “settlement” talks on Monday before the lawsuit goes to trial in May. Previous settlement talks in February failed even after hours of discussion.
