Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’ has been slow and steady when it comes to weekday collections at the box office. The horror-comedy has entered its second week in theaters and is set to cross the Rs 200-crore mark globally at the box office soon.
After experiencing slight growth on the second Tuesday, it showed a decline in its numbers on the following Wednesday.
‘Bhooth Bangla’ Box Office Collection Today 13 (2nd Wednesday)
The Priyadarshan directorial has collected Rs 84.40 crore in its first week in theatres. According to a Sacnilk report, Day 13 saw a 25.3% drop at the box office compared to Day 12. It grossed Rs 3.25 crore across 8,823 shows in the country. With this, the film’s total India gross collection has reached Rs 147.88 crore, while the total India net earnings now stand at Rs 124.50 crore.

Global collection of “Bhooth Bangla”
Within four days of its theatrical release, the collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan has grossed Rs 100 crore. Now, the film has added almost another Rs 100 crore to its global gross.
On day 13, the film collected Rs 0.75 crore in overseas markets, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 51.50 crore. With this, the total worldwide collection reached Rs 199.38 crore.The film has just crossed the Rs 200-crore mark, which it will cross by the end of this week.
Box office competition
While Akshay’s film is topping the box office numbers, the horror-comedy also faces competition from Michael Jackson biopic ‘Michael’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar.
