‘Balan: The Boy’ Box Office Collections Day 9: Chidambaram’s psychological thriller slows down on 2nd Saturday; The global total stands at Rs 24.26 lakh crore
Chidambaram’s ‘Balan: The Boy’ has crossed the Rs 24 crore mark at the worldwide box office, though it saw a decline in its box office collections on its ninth day. According to Sacnilk estimates, Balan: The Boy has collected a net collection of Rs 84 lakh in India on the 9th day.
The latest figure represents a 28.2% drop compared to the Rs 1.17 lakh crore earned on day 8.The film was shown in 864 shows on Saturday. The net collection of Chidambaram’s release in India has risen to Rs 13.30 lakh crore, while the total Hindi collection is Rs 15.41 lakh crore.The film also had a steady performance in overseas markets by collecting a total of Rs 8.85 crore internationally. Its worldwide total collection has reached Rs 24.26 crore.
Occupancy remains healthy
The Malayalam version recorded an overall occupancy of 43.99% on the ninth day. Morning shows recorded an occupancy rate of 17.58% before improving to 30.42% during the afternoon. The evening shows recorded 42.42%.
