Bad Bunny joins the “Toy Story” universe in the most unexpected and fitting role imaginable. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, will voice a toy that looks exactly like a pizza slice wearing sunglasses in the highly-anticipated “Toy Story 5,” which hits theaters June 19.
The character has actually been named “Pizza with the Sunglasses,” and Bad Bunny, 32, plays a voice role in the role.According to a statement from Disney, the character is described as “effortlessly cool and mysterious, a member of a small but powerful community of forgotten toys who live in an abandoned backyard shed.”
Bad Bunny’s Acting Career After ‘Toy Story 5’
The casting marks another chapter in Bad Bunny’s growing on-screen career. He previously showed off his acting chops in 2022’s action film “Bullet Train,” last year’s “Caught Stealing” and “Happy Gilmore 2,” as well as on “Saturday Night Live.”
Among his upcoming projects is the historical drama “Puerto Rico,” the directorial debut of rapper Residente, also known as René Pérez Joglar.
Bad Bunny is currently performing around the world on the “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour,” which is scheduled to end in July.

Alan Cumming is also revealed as Evil Bullseye, described as the playtime alter ego of Woody’s otherwise loyal and non-speaking horse toy.A new trailer for the film shows Jessie marshaling her toys to take on Lilypad and help their baby Bonnie, played by Scarlett Spears, make friends. Toy Story 5 hits theaters June 19.
