Marshall Lewy, former chief content officer at Wondery, has been named head of Audible content in North America.
In the expanded role, Lewy will oversee podcasts as well as Audible’s immersive audio dramas, audiobooks, podcasts and investigative series. He will also oversee Audible Theater, the company’s off-Broadway theater and development, and the company’s film and television development and production initiatives.
The move follows the breakup of Wondery in August 2025, during which parent company Amazon moved Wondery’s narrative podcast team, as well as Lewy, to Audible.
Wondery’s creator-led, video-focused podcast offerings include: New heights and Chair expert Join the Amazon Talent Services team.
At Wondery, Lewy oversaw podcasts such as hysterical, Doctor Death, Business wars, And baby, this is Keke Palmer. Many of the shows have been adapted into film and television films, and are executive produced by Yue Doctor Death (peacock), Shrink next door (Apple TV), We were shattered (Apple TV) and Dying for sex (FX).
Audible says it currently has “dozens” of audio-first projects in development across networks, studios and streaming devices. Lewy will report to Audible Chief Content Officer Rachel Giazza.
