In a heartbreaking loss to Indian music, legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. With a career spanning over eight decades, she leaves behind an unparalleled legacy that has shaped the soundscape of Indian cinema and beyond.Confirming the news, Dr Pratit Samdani from Breach Candy Hospital said: “Asha Bhosale breathed her last today at Breach Candy Hospital. She died due to multi-organ failure.” The singer was reportedly hospitalized on Saturday evening after extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.
