Angelina Jolie was beaming at Zahra’s graduation from Spelman College, her pride evident as her sons Pax, Maddox and Knox looked on, reminiscent of a young Brad Pitt. Jolie hinted at a change in her life in the near future, as she plans to move outside the United States once Knox reaches puberty, with Cambodia being the best option for calm.
Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie, best known for films like “Maleficent,” “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” and “Girl, Interrupted,” was a proud mother over the weekend as she celebrated her daughter Zahara Jolie’s graduation from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was joined on this historic occasion by her two eldest sons, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 22, and Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 24, in addition to 17-year-old Knox Jolie-Pitt, who attracted great attention due to the great resemblance between him and his father, Brad Pitt. Brad was not present at the event. The Daily Mail caught up with the family and took several exclusive photos of Knox, who was sporting fringed fringes and a faded moustache, looking remarkably like a young Pete.
The photos quickly spread online, and fans noticed how similar Knox looked to his father in his younger years. The frosted tips in particular drew comparisons to a memorable era of Pitt’s look, and the resemblance was hard to ignore.
Angelina Jolie plans to leave the United States when Knox turns 18
The graduation comes at a big moment for Jolie’s family, as Knox and his twin sister, Vivienne, are set to turn 18 in July 2026. According to a 2024 interview Jolie gave with The Hollywood Reporter, she’s been waiting for this milestone to make a big change in her life.
“I’m here because I have to be here after the divorce, but once they turn 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she said. “When you have a big family, you want to have privacy, peace and security. I have a home now to raise my children, but sometimes that place can be…that humanity that I found all over the world is not what I grew up with here. I will be spending a lot of time in Cambodia.“I will spend some time visiting my family members wherever they are in the world.”Her Los Angeles home is already on the market for just under $30 million, indicating that the move is well underway in the planning.
Zahra’s touching speech before her graduation
Prior to her graduation, Zahra took the stage at the Pearls of Purpose Foundation Mother-Daughter Luncheon on Sunday, April 26 in Atlanta, where she appeared as a special guest. In her speech, she spoke candidly about her relationship with her mother while Jolie stood by her side.“When I was asked to speak to all of you today about the value of mother-daughter relationships, I felt challenged to find the words,” Zahra began, according to a video shared on Instagram. “Not a challenge because I don’t appreciate it, but because my mother and I have a unique relationship that is, almost, difficult to put into words.”It was a touching moment that capped off what was clearly a very special weekend for Jolie’s family.
