Amazon’s Wondery has struck a deal with Boardroom, the sports media brand co-founded by NBA player Kevin Durant and his agent and business partner Rich Kleiman.
Under the terms of the deal, Wondery will have exclusive distribution and advertising sales rights to Boardroom’s podcast, which includes Cover story and conference room conversations, Which includes rotating hosts Durant, Clement, Taylor Roxx and Speedy Moorman. In early 2027, Wondery will distribute the Boardroom series via video and audio across Amazon services, including Prime Video, Amazon Music and Fire TV Channels.
The shows will also remain available on Boardroom’s YouTube channel, Boardroom.TV, and wherever podcasts are available.
Additionally, Wondery will create new opportunities for brand and fan engagement at Boardroom live events and annual Twitch live streams with Durant.
This is the latest franchise to join Wondery which is now focusing on creators. The list also includes Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Entertainment and Oprah podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, baby, this is Keke Palmer, take care of the game with LeBron James and Steve Nash, and Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.
