Veteran singer Alka Yagnik, who has mesmerized fans with her voice and popular songs for decades, left fans worried as she was seen in a wheelchair recently. Yagnik has been awarded the Padma Bhushan for her contribution to the field of Indian arts, music and cinema. The singer had previously opened up about a rare hearing disorder. Since then, she has been on vacation and made a rare appearance at Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive the Padma Shri from President Draupadi Murmu. A video of Yagnik from the concert in a wheelchair went viral on the Internet, and caused great concern among her fans, who wished her a speedy recovery. The singer has now addressed these concerns and given an update on her health. She took to Instagram on Thursday and said in a message: “Thank you for your love, concern and countless well wishes. I have seen the concern surrounding a video from the concert and would like to reassure everyone that I am fine and progressing positively in my recovery.”
