Akshay Kumar is often hailed as one of the most disciplined and hardworking actors in Bollywood, and Welcome To The Jungle star Akshara Singh has now shared an incident that further highlights his commitment to his craft.The Bhojpuri actress, who made a special appearance in the song Ghis Ghis Ghis from the recently released action-comedy, recalled how Akshay continued shooting despite suffering from high temperature.
“He had a fever of 103-104 degrees during the shooting.”
Speaking to ANI, Akshara praised the actor’s professionalism and revealed that he was suffering from a severe viral infection during the shoot.“The biggest thing was that he had a fever of 103 to 104 degrees while filming. I kept watching him and realized how much he loved his work and his craft.
“He works with a great sense of responsibility and dedication,” she said.According to the actress, despite being visibly ill, Akshay did not let his condition affect the production schedule. Instead of taking long breaks in his truck, he chose to continue filming and stay on set.Akshara was particularly impressed by how the actor was able to hide his discomfort once the cameras started rolling.
She shared that the moment the director called for action, Akshay completely transformed, bringing his trademark energy and infectious smile to the performance despite his illness.

For Akshara, who is among the most popular and highest-paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema, sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar was an unforgettable milestone.Recalling how the song reached Ahmed Khan’s directorial project, she said: “I received a call from Ahmed Sir’s production company.
I was told there was a song in Welcome To The Jungle and I had to do it.”Initially unsure about the offer, the actress said her hesitation disappeared after she received a call from famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya.“He asked me if I would compose the song. I asked him what kind of song it was, and he said it was a great song and that I would really like it. He encouraged me to do it. The moment I heard Ganesh sir’s name and Akshay sir’s name, I was completely blank,” she revealed. Welcome To The Jungle features a huge ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Sunil Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani and Jackie Shroff.
