The 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards are handed out Sunday night.
Three-time ACM Award winner Shania Twain hosts the show for the first time. The concert, which is broadcast live exclusively on Prime Video, takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” took home the top prize of the night, for Song of the Year, and was also named Song of the Year. The Red Clay Strays won Group of the Year, while Brooks & Dunn took home the ACM Duo of the Year award.
Cody Johnson was named Entertainer of the Year. Avery Anna won Best New Artist, and Tucker Whitmore won Best New Artist. “I Don’t Mind If You Do” by Riley Greene. Ella Langley was named Musical Event of the Year.
Jessie Jo Dillon has been named Songwriter of the Year for a record third year in a row.
Wilson opened the show with an energetic performance of “Can’t Sit Still.” The night was filled with performances from the likes of Anna, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Jordan Davis, Zack Tubb, Little Big Town, Riley Green, Red Clay Strays, Kacey Musgraves, Parker McCollum and Lee Ann Womack.
The awards are voted on by members of the Academy of Country Music, which has a record membership this year of more than 5,000. The eligibility period for submissions for the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards was calendar year 2025.
