The Academy of Country Music Awards have officially set a date for next year’s show, with the ACMs and Dick Clark Productions confirming Thursday that the show will return to Las Vegas on May 16, 2027.
The ACMs returned to Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 61st edition of the show last month, marking the first time in three years that Sin City has hosted the event after holding the 2023 and 2024 shows in Frisco, Texas.
This year’s show was hosted by Shania Twain, and Ella Langley took home the most awarded female artist of the night, winning seven ACM Awards. Cody Johnson won Artist of the Year. Miranda Lamber and Steven Wilson Jr. each have multiple wins as well.
Along with the new date, the ACMs and DCP shared some statistics about this year’s event, noting that according to Greyhill Advisors, the show generated approximately $53 million in economic impact to the Las Vegas region. The companies said visitor spending amounted to about $24.3 million.
Organizations also shared Luminate’s data on post-show streaming bumps, with Ella Langley and Parker McCollum leading the pack as their streams jumped 10 percent and 14 percent, respectively, the day after the show. The ACMs themselves generated about 153 million video views across social media, with social interactions growing 27 percent year-on-year, DCP said.
Tickets for next year’s show will be available for purchase this fall.
Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Corporation, the same parent company of Hollywood Reporter.
