The ultimate BatmanDC’s comic book sensation, is heading to the screen.

The comic will be adapted into an animated series and co-developed by the comic’s creators, writer Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta.

The series is one of three animated projects showcasing DC’s growing slate of anime and was part of the joint venture between DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

The presentation featured DC Studios Co-President and Co-CEO Peter Safran and Warners Animation President Sam Register along with Warner Animation artists sharing first looks and creative insights into the next wave of DC animation.
