ABC has renewed the Emmy Award-winning comedy for a sixth season in 2026-2027, which should exceed 100 episodes. The show is one of three half-hour comedy specials airing on ABC this season alongside each other Transmission gears (which completed its season in early February) and a revival Scrubs.
