The much-awaited trailer of ‘Aadu 3’ has finally been unveiled and it marks the return of Jayasurya and his famous gang.While fans were expecting a full-on time travel story, the trailer now raised a new question: Was the story really about time travel or was it just a humorous remake of characters from the old timeline?

The trailer starts out wide. A king of an era, played by Jayasurya, announces in a deep tone: “He has emerged from an unknown world beyond the heavens.
This is the myth bestowed upon us by our ancestors.
“Here, his character seems to refer to Neelakoduveli’s mythological origins. The visuals show a huge canvas, and as hopes rise for a pure time travel plot, the tone of the narrative changes. We are taken back to familiar territory as Shaji Baban, Dod, Shameer and other beloved characters return in classic comedy style. The sudden shift assures viewers that the heart of the film remains firmly in its humor.
The official plot confirms multiple timelines
The bigger reveal arrived via the booking platform, and was shared on AB George’s Twitter page. The description states: “Aadu 3 – is the third installment of the popular Aadu series. This time depicted as a fantasy epic since Shaji Pappan and Co. opened a Pandora’s box of reincarnations and multiple timelines leading to a comical chaos of epic propositions.” This officially confirms that Aadu 3 will handle multiple schedules.
Early viewers have already compared the concept to an “Avengers”-style multiverse, but with the unmistakable flavor of Midhun Manuel Thomas’ sense of humor. The closing parts of the trailer are mixed with peppy audio tracks from Dude’s theme to Shaji Pappan’s theme which has a separate fan base.
