Tamil superstar Dhanush got emotional while paying his last respects to veteran director and actor K. Bhagyaraj. The legendary director passed away on June 27 at the age of 73, leaving the Kollywood industry in deep shock.

Later, according to a report by Free Press Journal, Dhanush was seen struggling to control his emotions while standing in front of Bhagyaraj’s mortal remains. Dhanush was also seen comforting Bhagyaraj’s family members during the last rites.
He hugged them and offered his support during the difficult time.In a clip circulating online, Dhanush quietly left the funeral without speaking to the media after paying his respects. He was taken to his car. Fans were moved after watching the videos. They expressed their grief and recalled the close relationship the actor shared with Bhagyaraj. Dhanush always had great respect for K. Bhagyaraj and often admired him as one of the best storytellers in Tamil cinema.
Although they have never worked together in a full-fledged film, Bhagyaraj appeared in Dhanush’s directorial debut ‘Pa Pandi’ in 2017. He played the younger version of Rajkiran’s character in the film.
