2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards highlights: Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce debut, Miley Cyrus Innovation Award and more

At the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Taylor Swift stole the show with an impressive seven wins, her first appearance at the awards show alongside fiancé Travis Kelce. Miley Cyrus was honored with the Innovator Award, while Alex Warren captivated the audience with his electrifying performance.

The 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards concluded after a ceremony on March 26. The event had many memorable moments, some best and some oops! With Taylor Swift taking home seven awards while attending with fiancé Travis Kelce, and Miley Cyrus receiving the Innovator Award, the show saw some successes.

The night also had its share of regrettable moments! Here are highlights from the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make their first appearance at a major awards ceremony

Taylor Swift attended the ceremony with her fiancé, Travis Kelsey, in their first joint appearance at the awards ceremony. The engaged couple stuck close together all night. While accepting the award for pop album of the year, she shouted to her fiancé in the audience: “Thanks for the vibes.”

Miley Cyrus receives the Innovator Award

After delighting fans with a “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,” Miley accepted the Innovator Award.

While receiving the award, the singer said: “Hannah Montana has inspired me a lot in my career.” At the end of her speech, she referred to a song from the Disney Channel series: “This is what life really is.”

Alex Warren gives a great performance

Following his unsatisfactory performance at the Grammy Awards, Alex Warren gave an exceptional performance of his new song “FEVER DREAM.” He stared out across the elaborate subway set, surrounded by dancers.

Warren received four awards. He was nominated for eight iHeartRadio Music Awards this year.

Sad cursing on stage

The Alternative Album of the Year winner, while thanking his fans, Sombr let out a few choice words that he seemed surprised to say. Addressing his supporters, he said: “I love you very much.” He then confirmed: “I love you so much (much).”

Vin Diesel needed a larger font size

Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel arrived on stage to present his “brother for life” Ludacris with the Landmark Award, but he couldn’t find the teleprompter! When he did, Diesel leaned over to take a closer look at the words, joking that he was “crushing” them.

Ray’s performance of “Where’s My Husband?”

Ray’s voice amazed the audience with her perfect voice and charming performance. She sang “Where’s My Husband?” The audience fell into the rhythm (especially Swift, who clearly turned to her fiancé, Kelsey, and sang along).
