The incident occurred on Tuesday.

Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, while speaking during a protest outside the Bihar Legislative Assembly, demanded strict action against the person who refused entry to the girl.

Speaking outside the assembly, Kumar said: “As I go to my office from here, I will definitely be aware of this issue.”

Asked whether the Education Ministry would exercise leniency in cases of marginal delays, he said the government would take “any appropriate action required for the benefit of students”.

Earlier in the day, Rabri Devi said: “Law and order is in a terrible state. When a daughter reached the examination hall a little late, she was not allowed to take the exam. As a result, she died by suicide by jumping from the train.”

The Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly asserted that the girl should have been allowed to take the exam.

CPI(ML) Liberation MLC Shashi Yadav also highlighted the incident inside the Legislative Council during Question Hour.
