NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has warned aspirants of National Eligibility for University Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 against false claims related to leaks of FAQ papers on social media, especially on Telegram.With the National Level Medical Entrance Examination looming in a few weeks, the agency said some fraudulent channels are falsely claiming to provide access to NEET UG 2026 question papers. Based on several complaints, the NTA has warned students against falling for such scams and stated that strict legal action is being taken against those spreading misleading information.
In a post on X, NTA said students should rely only on official updates available on the NTA website and verified social media handles.
The agency also added that such fake channels are being banned.
NEET UG 2026 exam date
NEET UG 2026 will be conducted on 3 May 2026 (Sunday) in one shift across the country. The exam is held for admission to undergraduate medical courses including MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, BVSc & AH, and other medical programmes.
NEET UG 2026: Important Instructions for Candidates
NTA also shared important exam day guidelines:
- Candidates must carry a valid ID proof to the examination centre
- Entry will not be allowed without proof of identity
- Pens will be provided to fill out the OMR sheets at the examination centre
- Students should wear simple and light clothing
- Avoid sleeveless clothes, heavy accessories and bulky items
