IIT Advanced Admit Card 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) tomorrow, 11 May 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to download their hall tickets from the official JEE Advanced portal starting at 10:00 IST.

The admit card link will remain active till 2:30 PM on 17 May 2026. IIT Roorkee, the organizing institute for this year’s examination session, will conduct JEE Advanced 2026 in two compulsory papers on May 17. The first paper will be conducted from 09 am to 12 noon. The second paper will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates must appear for both papers. Absence from either paper may result in exclusion from the grading process.The admit card will carry important details including the address of the examination center, reporting time, credentials of the candidate and instructions on the day of the examination. Students were advised to check all details carefully immediately after downloading the document.

Acceptance card is mandatory for entry

The hall ticket will be a mandatory document to enter the examination centre. Candidates will also be required to carry a valid photo ID proof along with their printed admit card.

Officials warned candidates not to wait until the last minute to download the document, as heavy traffic on the site as the exam date approaches may lead to technical delays.

Special provisions for candidates with disabilities

IIT Roorkee has also announced assistance measures for PWD candidates and those with less than 40 percent disability who face difficulties in writing.These candidates will be allowed to choose a clerk on May 16, 2026, one day before the exam.

IIT Roorkee Admit Card 2026: Official Time Table

The post-test process will begin quickly after the test has finished.According to the official schedule:

  • Candidates’ response sheets will be released on 21 May 2026 with effect from 17:00 IST.
  • The provisional answer keys will be published on 25 May 2026 at 10:00 IST.
  • The objection window will remain open until 26 May 2026 at 17:00 IST

Candidates will be allowed to submit feedback and challenge the provisional answer keys within the stipulated period.The final answer key and results of JEE Advanced 2026 will be announced on 01 June 2026 at 10:00 AM IST.

Registration for AAT 2026 To start in June

Students seeking admission into architecture programs at Indian Institutes of Technology through Architectural Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 will be able to register from 01 June 2026.The registration process will continue until 02 June 2026 at 17:00 IST. AAT 2026 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 04 June 2026, between 09:00 IST and 12:00 IST. The results will be announced on 07 June 2026 at 17:00 IST.

The JoSAA counseling process is expected from 2 June

The consultation process for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2026 is tentatively expected to begin on 02 June 2026, effective 17:00 IST.The counseling process will decide admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other participating technical institutes based on the JEE Advanced and JEE Main ranks of the candidates.
