The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will close the online registration window for CRPF for the vacancies of Constables (Technicians, Tradesmen and Pioneers) for the year 2026 on its official portal, recruitment.crpf.gov.in.
The application window opened on April 20, 2026, and will be open until May 19, 2026. Candidates wishing to apply must apply online at the official CRPF recruitment website. CRPF has announced a total of 9,195 vacancies under the recruitment drive.According to the official notification, 9,096 posts have been reserved for male candidates, while 79 vacant posts have been reserved for female applicants. CRPF Police Recruitment 2026 : Eligibility criteria
The Force has established specific eligibility requirements with regard to age and educational qualifications. Candidates applying for driver positions must fall within the age group of 21 to 27 years. For all other positions, the minimum age is 18 to 23 years.
Relaxation in the age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.Applicants must be Indian citizens and must have passed Class 10 examination or Matriculation, or have an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. CRPF Constable 2026: Selection Process
The CRPF recruitment process is designed to evaluate physical stamina and technical suitability. The selection procedure will begin with the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST).Candidates who qualify at these stages will proceed to the Computer Based Test (CBT), which will serve as the primary determinant of the final merit list. The CRPF has fixed the application fee at INR 100 for male candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories.However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), female categories, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.Selected applicants will be appointed at Pay Level 3 and their salary will range from INR 21,700 to INR 69,100 per month. Apart from this basic salary, applicants will be eligible for other allowances and benefits as per the Central Government Services Rules.
