Yokohama India has launched its latest premium touring tyre, BluEarth-GT MAX. This is a next-generation evolution of the brand’s BluEarth-GT series. According to the company, the new tire is designed to provide up to 30% longer mileage.BluEarth-GT MAX was developed taking into account urban and highway traffic conditions. It will be available in a wide range from 14 to 19 inches, and like other Yokohama products, it is covered by the company’s lifetime protection program.

What sets the new GT MAX apart is its focus on solving three key challenges faced by Indian drivers: tire life, cabin noise and ride comfort. Yokohama has re-engineered the tread design, and says the tire provides not only longer travel but also a quieter, smoother driving experience.
The tire features a new asymmetrical tread pattern, with the inner shoulder providing enhanced comfort while the outer shoulder, with a wider rib, adds more stability during cornering. Blade-cut grooves are designed to optimize contact pressure across the tread surface, improving stiffness and traction, while lightning-shaped grooves effectively channel water to ensure confident grip on wet and dry roads. In other developments, Yokohama India recently partnered with The Classic Himalayan Drive 2025, a 10-day expedition that revives the legendary rally routes of the 1980s.
