Mahindra Scorpio In Facelift (2)

The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift is expected to be launched soon in India with cosmetic updates and a more feature-rich cabin; Mechanical changes are unlikely

Recent spy shots confirm that Mahindra & Mahindra is constantly testing the updated Scorpio N SUV on the road. First introduced three and a half years ago, the model is approaching its initial mid-cycle review and test views suggest its official debut could take place within the next few months.

The upcoming facelift is expected to get a significantly upgraded interior. The dashboard is expected to feature a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen to replace the smaller one and this unit is likely to be shared with the Mahindra Thar Roxx. To match the new screen shape, the design of the center console has been modified.

You can get vertically arranged air vents while the actual HVAC buttons and distinctive airplane-style toggle switches remain intact. A fully digital display could be offered to update the driving interface and a panoramic sunroof could also be offered. Despite these additions, upholstery styles, color themes and the overall design of the dashboard are expected to remain largely unchanged.

Mechanically, the facelift will remain with the current engine lineup. Power should continue to come from the familiar 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol engines mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The diesel model may also retain the optional all-wheel drive system.

Although the mechanical package is expected to remain the same, minor modifications to the suspension could be made to enhance ride comfort and handling balance. The styling tweaks appear more subtle than the interior upgrades. At the front, the SUV gains a redesigned grille featuring horizontal detailing along with a reworked lower bumper section.

However, it looks like the headlight and foglight clusters will be carried over from the previous version. Along the sides, the SUV’s silhouette remains identical, maintaining its tall stance and powerful proportions. The main change visible on the concept vehicles is a set of new alloy wheels that should help differentiate the facelift from the current iteration. The rear design remains hidden under camouflage for now although minor tweaks may be made to the bumper.
