Actor, director and choreographer Prabhu Deva took delivery of the MG M9 luxury electric SUV. This model is the flagship offering within the brand’s premium MG SELECT retail channel.One of the most notable features of the MG M9 are the “presidential seats” in the second row.
These powered ottoman style seats offer 16-way adjustment as well as ventilation, heating and eight massage modes.
The luxury MPV also comes equipped with a dual sunroof, cognac brown leather upholstery, ambient lighting and smart armrest controls. MG also offers electric sliding rear doors and flexible storage solutions as part of the package.Inside, the M9 features a dual-screen setup that includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are included, while entertainment duties are handled by a 13-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer. Other features include tri-zone climate control, a 64-colour ambient lighting system and a camera-based interior digital rearview mirror.The MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor that produces 245 PS and 350 Nm of torque.
The luxury EV MPV offers a MIDC certified driving range of 548 km on a single charge. Charging options include an 11 kW AC charger and 160 kW fast charging support.
Safety features include seven airbags, a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System, and 5-star safety ratings under Euro NCAP and ANCAP crash test standards. The ADAS suite includes functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and blind spot monitoring.The MG M9 is offered in Brilliant White Pearl, Black Metallic and Concrete Grey. The electric MPV is retailed through the brand’s MG SELECT Experience Centers spread across major cities in India.
