Infosys had introduced annual salary increases of 6 to 8 percent for employees in India in 2025.

Infosys lowers revenue growth forecast

The announcement comes as Infosys reported its June quarter earnings and revised its revenue growth guidance for the current financial year.

The Bengaluru-based IT services company trimmed the upper end of its full-year revenue growth forecast, saying it now expects constant currency revenue to grow by 1.5 to 3 percent for the fiscal year ending March 2027, compared to its previous guidance of 1.5 to 3.5 percent, AFP reported.

Infosys reported revenues of $48,211 crore for the April-June quarter, up 14 per cent over the previous year. Net profit increased by more than 12 percent year-on-year $Rs 7,769 crore.

The company also announced a major leadership transition, with Executive Vice President Ashish Kumar Dash named as its next CEO. Dash will assume his position after current CEO Salil Parekh’s term ends in April.

“Having worked closely with Dash over many years, I have seen first-hand his integrity, customer focus, and ability to lead through change,” Parikh said in a statement.

“He brings a deep understanding of our customers, our business and our people, along with the vision and ability to lead Infosys through its next phase of transformation.”

India’s $315 billion IT industry has been plagued over the past year by subdued customer spending on big technology projects, as artificial intelligence tools from companies like Anthropic and OpenAI offer new ways to do labor-intensive work that was previously outsourced.
