The D4vd singer asked a Los Angeles judge to allow him to appear in court without handcuffs or other restrictions during his preliminary hearing. D4vd’s lawyer says the singer behaved appropriately during all of his previous court appearances and never attempted to escape or disrupt the proceedings, arguing that the restrictions were unnecessary.

According to NBC 4 Los Angeles, D4vd’s attorney, Blair Burke, filed a motion asking the court to remove the singer’s handcuffs and other restraints during the preliminary hearing.
In the lawsuit, Burke argued that D4vd attended five court hearings without causing any trouble.
She said he never tried to escape, did not act violently, and followed all courtroom rules. For this reason, the defense believes he should be allowed to stand trial without restrictions.So far, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlene Olmedo has not made a decision on the request.The preliminary hearing is an important step in the case.
