'Lenin' box office collection on 4th day: Akhil Akkineni's action thriller has grossed Rs 41.42 crore worldwide

Akhil Akkineni starrer ‘Lenin’ continues its march from opening weekend to weekdays at a good pace at the box office. The action drama directed by Murali Kishore Appuru has managed to woo the audience even with the usual Monday slump.

The film is backed by strong performances, positive lyrics and an action-packed narrative that helped attract audiences in key markets. With the film’s collections holding up well, “Lenin” is close to hitting a major box office milestone in just four days.

“Lenin” box office collections remain impressive

According to Sakneelek, ‘Lenin’ has collected an estimated net collection of Rs 3.60 crore across 2,122 shows in India on its fourth day. With this, the film’s total net collection in India stands at Rs 29.05 crore, while the film’s total India gross stands at Rs 33.37 crore.

Overseas, the film earned another Rs 0.75 crore gross on its fourth day, taking its international total to Rs 8.05 crore. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross has risen to Rs 41.42 crore.

The film opened with Rs 7.15 crore on the first day, followed by Rs 8.65 crore on the second day and Rs 9.65 crore on the third day, before seeing the expected weekday decline on the first Monday.

Positive word of mouth keeps the momentum alive

Released on July 10, ‘Lenin’ has been helped by positive response from the audience, especially from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the film continues to attract good crowds.

Despite mixed reviews, audiences loved the film for Akhil Akkineni’s performance, action sequences and emotional moments. Bhagyashri Borse is the heroine, and Ramki, Shivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji and Easwari Rao play key supporting roles.

The mix of commercial action and emotional narrative helped the film maintain a healthy trajectory after its opening weekend.

Lenin prepares for a new teacher

With already collecting over Rs 41 crore worldwide in just four days, ‘Lenin’ is now just a short distance away from crossing the Rs 50 crore mark globally. If the film continues to perform well during the weekdays, it is expected to achieve the feat before next weekend. For Akhil Akkineni, the film marks another encouraging step in his career, while director Murali Kishore Appuru has delivered an entertaining theatrical work that continues to gain support among audiences.

The next few days will decide whether “Lenin” can continue to run successfully at the box office.
