“Iron Fist” and “Daredevil” star Wei Qing Ho dies at the age of 82 (Instagram)
Actress Wai Ching Ho, best known for her role as antagonist Madame Gao in Daredevil, has died. She was 82 years old at the time of her death.

The veteran actress has died at the age of 82, her Daredevil co-star Peter Shinkoda confirmed in a social media post.
He took to his Instagram account to remember her and wrote: “I will never forget you.
I learned every minute from you when we were together on and off the set. I know wisdom, and I will hang on every word you say. We will meet again, my friend. You were beautiful. 🙏😣 @waichinghohknyc #MadameGao #TheHanddaredevil @marvelstudios.” He accompanied the heartfelt tribute with photos of them sharing the screen in the Daredevil movie.
Her family also released a public statement about her death to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Her family is so grateful for the incredible outpouring of love and support and the many beautiful messages and memories people have shared about our beloved Y. Reading how much she means to so many is comforting to us during this difficult time,” the statement read.At the time of writing, no updates on how she died have been shared with the public.
Who was Wei Qing Ho?
Wai Ching Ho was a veteran star who hailed from Hong Kong and was born on November 16, 1943. She began her career in the entertainment industry in the 1980s when she started scoring roles in big American sitcoms and television series. Her first screen film role came in 1990 when she landed a role in Cadillac Man opposite Robin Williams. Some of her other well-known roles include Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Cheng Ho also had a distinguished career in theater, focusing on off-Broadway productions after graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.Her most famous Marvel role came when she joined Daredevil as Madame Gao in 2015. In 2017, she rejoined the MCU through the spin-off series Iron Fist and The Defenders.
