Vedang Raina has achieved great success in the industry ever since he achieved success with The Archies and starred in the blockbuster Saiyaaraa. However, over the past year, he has been repeatedly involved in dating rumours, although he has remained quiet on the subject.

However, during one of his recent interviews, the actor finally ended up opening up about his relationship status, all the while talking about his new success with ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’.

Vedang Raina gets candid about his relationship status

Sitting down for a chat with HT City, the actor got candid about his current relationship status and confirmed that he is in fact “currently single.” When asked about the qualities he looks for in a partner, Raina emphasized that kindness is one of the most important qualities a person should have.

“Kindness. There are other qualities too, but if you’re not kind, everything else falls apart,” he added.

During the interview, he also talked about the kind of love and praise he received for his work in Main Vaapas Aaunga. He stated that the love he received was “absolutely overwhelming.” He also added, “There was a lot to digest in the first two-three days. A lot of things have been said about the film, which has now been unanimously loved by critics and audiences.

Then the turnaround happened. I think that makes the whole thing even more special. There is no other instance where it has happened like this. I have regained my faith in the fact that good films will find an audience.”During the interview, the actor discussed a lot of things, which also included his dream directors to work with.

Raina has so far worked with Zoya Akhtar, Vasan Bala and Imtiaz Ali. While talking about the same, he openly admitted that he would love to work with Christopher Nolan and Martin Scorsese one day. He added, “There are a lot of Indian directors I would love to work with as well, but if I dream as big as possible, I will choose these two.

In Main Vaapas Aaunga, Raina played the younger version of Naseeruddin Shah’s character, Ishar Singh Grewal, also known as Keenu. He talked about his life before Partition and how he was one of thousands of people affected by the event.
