ETimes praises Akhil Akkineni’s performance
Apart from its box office performance, Lenin also received positive responses for Akhil Akkineni’s performance. The ETimes review said, “Back after a gap of three years, Akhil Akkineni settles comfortably into his first full-fledged country role.
He downplays the character for most of the film before giving his strongest performance in the emotionally charged climax. Bhagyashri Borse is convincing as the free-spirited Bharati, while the supporting cast lends credibility to the story. Sivaji, despite his effective screen presence, feels somewhat underutilized.
“The film is directed by Murali Kishore Appuru, featuring Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashree Borse in the lead roles, with music composed by Thaman S.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
