Serbian drama After 3 weeks (3 Nedelje Bosley(Film) directed by Miroslav Terzic, won the Best European Film Award at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). A judging panel of three exhibitors from the Europe Cinemas network revealed their selection on Saturday afternoon.

The jury’s statement about the film, which had its world premiere in the main competition program of KVIFF 2026, highlighted: “It was a unanimous decision to award the Europe Cinemas label to After 3 weeks By Miroslav Terzic. “As a jury, we had a difficult decision to make, because all 15 films competing for our award were good in their own way, and we are three different people, each one with his own taste, and yet this film captivated us from the first shot and held our attention until the end.”
The jury added: “The cast delivers remarkably powerful and authentic performances. The story depicts the lives of today’s teenagers through their eyes, allowing their voices and perspectives to shape the narrative in an authentic and compelling way. At its core, it is fueled by group dynamics. Miroslav Terzic’s filmmaking is astounding in every aspect of its craft. The film urges us to really listen to young people, to be there for them and not to look away!”
