Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday held a series of business-to-government (B2G) meetings with global investors, industry bodies and corporate representatives during the second day of the National Stakeholder Consultation 2026 in the state, with discussions focusing on investment, tourism, renewable energy, manufacturing, healthcare and skill development.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (CMO), the Singapore delegation led by High Commissioner Simon Wong Wei Kuen has expressed interest in long-term cooperation with Jharkhand. Discussions included attracting investments, establishing skills centers and centers of excellence, adopting the Singapore vocational training model, industry and skills mapping, and partnerships in healthcare, education and medical research. The delegation also suggested preparing a roadmap based on the state’s industrial and manpower requirements, the CMO said.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has made proposals to strengthen the renewable energy ecosystem in Jharkhand through investments in solar and wind power, smart metering, transmission infrastructure, grid modernization and digital energy management, according to the government.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has proposed measures to promote nature tourism, weddings, sports tourism and MICE tourism by improving tourism infrastructure, connectivity and destination management.
EaseMyTrip has announced plans to sign a memorandum of understanding with the state government to promote tourist destinations in Jharkhand through travel influencers and digital creatives, while MakeMyTrip has also expressed interest in partnering with the government for tourism promotion, the marketing director said.
Soren also held discussions with Hero Cycles and Avon Cycles about setting up bicycle and e-bike manufacturing facilities in the state. According to the government, discussions explored potential investments for $500 Crores $1000 Crores to develop an integrated manufacturing ecosystem.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Tourism Association has also proposed developing an international standard golf course and a golf tourism hub in Ranchi. The Chief Minister said the state government is committed to creating an investor-friendly ecosystem by supporting policies, transparent governance and continuous engagement with stakeholders.
