Dharmendra’s children are from his first marriage to Prakash Kaur, and they said they are all united, contrary to what others might think.Speaking to Indian Rush, Hema shared, “Dharam ji would always say, be with the children as much as possible. Spend time with the children, with the family. He would always say, be united with the family, and that is very important in today’s times, which is not really the case now. These days, the children are going their separate ways.”Hema and Dharmendra married in 1980 and had two daughters –

Deol insulted us. At that time, Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur with whom he had four children – sons Sunny and Bobby, and two daughters Ajeeta and Vijayta.
Dharmendra continued to live with Prakash until the end, while Hema lived in a house across the street. When Hema was asked about the ‘final message’ from Dharmendra, she said, “This is exactly what he said: ‘Be with the family.’ Be with them all. “Work can continue but family must be given utmost importance.”Hema was also asked about Sunny and Bobby and described them as “wonderful boys”. “They are so sweet.
Very nice sunny. Bobby is very good. We are all always together. We don’t do any advertising but internally we are all good. We are all united. “We are a very happy family,” she said.In the same chat, Hema was asked to talk about certain aspects of Dharmendra’s life which his fans might not know about. “What can I say about such a great human being? Words fall short,” she said, adding: “He was always grounded.”“If he’s home and hears some noise outside, he’ll always want to know what’s going on.
If someone came up to take a picture with him, he would say, “Call them inside,” no matter who it was. He would meet everyone and feed them all. He was very fond of people. He was very good at poetry and loved to share that with his fans.“I worked with him for many years. He was always a generous and loving person,” she said. “He taught everyone that no matter how difficult it is in your life, you have to face it and solve it.” She described him as a “very loving father” and a “very loving naano (grandfather)”. “I can’t say how much the kids miss him,” she said.
