Dhamaal 4 received a U/A 13+ certificate from the CBFC after “obscene” hand gestures were edited out in two places and words in seven, with no scenes being cut. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film reunites Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and others, along with new cast members. It will be released in cinemas on July 10.
After the likes of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, it is now Dhamaal 4’s turn to test its fortunes at the box office. The makers have already completed the censorship process well ahead of schedule.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Dhamaal 4 with a U/A 13+ certificate, but not without some changes. Two scenes involving “obscene” hand movements were changed and replaced, while “obscene” words were requested to be changed in a further seven instances. It is worth noting that no scenes were completely removed from the film. After these amendments, the filmmakers received a censorship certificate on July 2. According to the certificate, the duration of the film is 143 minutes, or 2 hours and 23 minutes.
