Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir intercepted another infiltrator from across the border on Sunday, marking the third such arrest in Poonch district this month.

A 31-year-old man was arrested by Indian Army forces after he crossed the Line of Control in Balakot sector of Poonch.
The man was identified as Rais Khan, a resident of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He was detained soon after entering the Indian side of the Line of Control, news agency PTI reported.

Officials said that no incriminating materials were found during the arrest.
Investigators are now interrogating Khan to determine the purpose of his cross-border movement and whether he has any contacts or intended targets on the Indian side.
The third such case was reported in June
The latest arrest is the third case of an infiltrator being arrested in Poonch this month.
On Friday, officials arrested 26-year-old Muhammad Sajjad, also from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in Gulpur area of Krishna Ghati sector.

Earlier, on June 9, 14-year-old Javed Ali was arrested after crossing into the Indian side. He was extradited to Pakistan a week later.
Sighting a drone near an international border
In another development on Sunday, security agencies launched a search operation after a Pakistani drone briefly entered Indian territory in Samba district.
Officials said the drone was seen flying near Nundpur village in the early hours of the day.
Following this sighting, personnel from the Border Security Force, Army and Police conducted a massive search operation in the area to ensure that there was no cross-border airdrop of weapons or drugs.
The search operation ended without any recovery, with officials saying that nothing incriminating was found.
